The Man with no Name

What is Love.

Love. What a powerful word.

Many believe they know the exact definition of love; how to love and who to love. In today’s society, many modern relationships are not working out well. What could be the reason behind this? Trust? Technology? Respect? We’re not prepared for the sacrifices, for the compromises, for the unconditional love. I believe certain people are not ready to invest all that it takes to make a relationship work. We want everything easy. We’re quitters. Once things start to get complicated in a relationship, we run away instead of trying to sit down and talk.  Talk… We hardly talk too. Most talk through messages, facebook but is that really talking?? What happened to the good old days, where technology didn’t exist. You can go out, have dinner and have an actual conversation without looking at your mobile. If you had to go in any restauarant, you will always see a couple both looking down on their mobiles and ignoring each other. This is not healthy for any kind of relationship. In my opinion, its a lack of respect. Whenever I am out on a date, the first thing I do is switch off my 3G and simply enjoy the moment and time with the person i am with.

Many have come across this phrase or moment in life; “We are interested in those people who are not interested in us and those who are interested in us, we are not interested in them” Funny how that works, right?

We are living in a time where people are focusing more on their careers or dream jobs hence, leaving no space for love. We don’t have time to love, we don’t have the patience to deal with relationships. Relationships are nothing more than convenience nowadays.

Here is some food for thought. Everyone has had their first love but after a break up, some suffer to get back on their feet. The reason is many find it difficult to trust again, to fall in love again, to have those same feelings again with another person. I think every person is special in some kind of way. You just have to take a leap of faith. One thing for sure is not to rush love. Love is a force of nature. You cannot buy love; it is inherently free. Hence build any relationship brick by brick. if it’s meant to be, it will be. I think being in love is the best feeling in the world but it is not easy. Both parties have to work hard but if everything is done with love then any obstacles that will come forward can be handled easily.

As the saying goes “You only live once” so do it right and do everything with love.

Peace and Respect to you all.

Sunday Funday

Dear Readers

My kind of Sunday is one whereby I reflect on my past week and prepare myself for the coming week ahead. As we are ending the month of February (can’t believe 2 months have already passed since we started the year 2017 and it feels like yesterday it was 2016), it has been quite a rollercoaster ride. I got myself a new job where I work  in a Financial Institution and also I decided to further on in my studies doing my Masters in management at the University of Chester. All in all i am happy at how 2017 is turing out to be. I am working at being more independent and investing in myself because at the end, I am building my own future. Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving forward. It will not be an easy task but God will bless the broken road that will help me achive my personal objectives

A film I have seen this past week is called “Hacksaw Ridge”. The extraordinary true story of conscientious objector Desmond T. Doss who saved 75 men in Okinawa, during the bloodiest battle of WWII, without firing a single shot. Believing that the war was just but killing was nevertheless wrong, he was the only American soldier in WWII to fight on the front lines without a weapon. As an army medic Doss single-handedly evacuated the wounded near enemy lines – braving enemy fire and putting his own life on the line. The below is a quote from the actual movie.

“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.”

I very recommend anyone to watch this movie.

Happy Sunday readers

The Man with no Name.

Once upon a time…

Hey Guys

Welcome to my blog. Basically I will be writing day to day experiences that i will encounter. Sometimes in life it is not easy to talk about your problems to your friends and even your own family but when you have a pen and a book and throw all your emotions on a piece of paper, it will  make things easier. Life has its ups and downs and not everything is given to us on a plate. We need to work hard to reach out objectives, educate ourselves to have the dream job and learn to love in order to build a happy family.

Stay Tuned
